Thumbscrew 1.0b5
I've rebuilt Thumbscrew on my iMac running Panther, and verified that it runs and works on both platforms. Thumbscrew 1.0b5

This is Jack writing from Taiwan. Thanks for making this great tool. I am wondering if it's possible to localize this application; or, do you have the plan of its localization? If it's possible, please do feel free to contact me. I am really glad to help localize this great application, and make it more popular. Btw, I also wrote an introduction to this application on my blog, which is Chinese.

Is this version 1.0b5 compatible with Tiger? Several users left messages or wrote to me that Thumbscrew doesn't work in Tiger. When we double click this application, it just flashes a second and bounces, and then disappears.

Jack, can you contact me directly so I can try to see what's up? The version of Thumbscrew I uploaded works okay on my install of Tiger here, and on my home iMac running Panther.

I can verify that Thumbscrew 1.0b5 doesn't work with Tiger. It indeed flashes after a double click.. There does not happen anything at all... Unfortunatly! :-(

I can confirm 1.0b5 works with Tiger 10.4.1, certainly an earlier beta behaved as others have described and crashed on launch, but 1.0b5 seems fine.
